Does Carte D’Or contain gluten?
To see if any of our ice cream contains gluten, just check the ingredients on the label of the pack. We do sometimes use syrups made from wheat starch although the final amount in any of our ice creams is always less than 0.01%. If you’re sensitive to any particular ingredient, such as gluten, it’s always worth taking a peek at the pack.
Is Carte D’Or OK for vegetarians?
Usually we get our whey powder from the manufacturers of vegetarian cheese, which is fine. But occasionally it comes from the traditional cheese–making process, which isn’t suitable for strict vegetarians. So sorry, but unfortunately we can’t guarantee that every tub is OK.
Do you still make your Strawberry flavour?
Our new Strawberry & Yoghurt Délice has replaced the existing Strawberry flavour. This gorgeous addition is made with deliciously smooth yoghurt ice cream, swirled with real strawberry sorbet, blended and topped with an indulgently fruity strawberry coulis. We hope you will like it just as much as we do!
Will you ever bring back Carte D’Or Fruit & Fresh?
We’re sorry, but it’s pretty unlikely. We thought it was fantastic, but unfortunately not enough people agreed with us! Who knows, maybe we’ll try again with something similarly fruity in the future watch this space!
Why is it sometimes hard to find the flavour I want?
We’re very happy to provide any shop or supermarket with any of our flavours. But ultimately it’s up to them to choose which flavours they sell. So if your particular favourite isn’t one of the best sellers in your area, your local shops may decide not to stock it. See which shops sell what on our stockist’s chart.
Where can I buy your Lavazza® Latte Macchiato?
Our lovely Lavazza® flavour is fairly new, so some supermarkets may simply not have got round to stocking it yet. And, as we said above, we’re delighted to provide all our flavours to all shops - but they choose, not us! Take a look at our stockists' chart to see who's selling Lavazza® at the moment.
What if my favourite flavour is no longer available?
To make way for our great new flavours we no longer make Strawberry, Toblerone®, Crème Caramel, Crème Brulée, Panna Cotta Amaretti and Tiramisu. If one of these is your favourite and you'd really like us to bring it back please email us and say so! We're always trying to keep you happy!
